Ancillary Service Focus Group announced, call on 3/31/25

The California ISO will host an Ancillary Service Focus Group call on March 31, 2025. This new group will discuss the current process and procedures for certification, validation, and testing for resources in the California ISO Balancing Authority footprint that are certified for Ancillary Service (AS). 

In the Focus Group, the ISO is seeking stakeholder feedback on introducing new processes to ensure 100% of the certified Ancillary Service fleet has been tested within a given period. This will help ensure resources can appropriately respond to and provide their certified AS amounts.

Please submit written comments on the March 31 focus group meeting and discussion to ASnotifications@caiso.com by end of day April 15, 2025.
