Annual Policy Initiatives Roadmap Process 2024 working group on 5/8/24

The California ISO will host a virtual stakeholder-led prioritization working group for the 2024 annual discretionary policy initiatives catalog on May 8, 2024. Stakeholders will present potential discretionary initiatives for prioritization in the catalog including a presentation from the Regional Issues Forum of prioritized initiatives and sessions related to the Western Energy Imbalance Market including changes to the resource sufficiency evaluation, outage approval processes, management of use-limited resources, and base schedule submission changes.

Attendees will be able to request further clarification on proposals and discuss the prioritization of these proposals for inclusion in the 2024 catalog. Discretionary initiatives in the 2024 catalog will be considered for inclusion in the ISO’s Policy Initiatives Roadmap that will be finalized in December 2024.
