Annual Review: The California ISO Compliance with Operations Policies and Procedures; comments due 10/24/25

The California ISO is launching the annual review of its compliance with operations policies and procedures in accordance with ISO tariff section 22.1.2.2.

Each year the Audit Committee of the ISO Board of Governors appoints an independent entity to review ISO management's compliance with its operations policies and procedures. The Committee will consider proposed review topics raised by market participants for inclusion within the scope of review.

The following processes were the subject of this review in recent years:

• 2025 – Dispute Analysis and Resolution
• 2024 – Wheeling Through Scheduling Priorities Requirements
• 2023 – RC West system emergency and monitoring/performance operating procedures

The ISO requests input from market participants on the 2026 review scope by close of business Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. Please submit comments and suggestions to AuditandAdvisoryServices@caiso.com.
