Legal and regulatoryBPM change management: Definitions and Acronyms BPM Declassified as BPM
The California ISO announces the declassification of the Definitions and Acronyms Business Practice Manual (BPM) with updated link on how to find ISO definitions and acronyms.
The Definitions and Acronyms BPM previously served as a consolidated reference for all definitions and acronyms in the ISO Tariff and other BPMs. To streamline and expedite updates to these definitions and acronyms, ISO initiated Proposed Revision Request 1575 through the BPM Change Management process. No stakeholder comments were received opposing the decision to discontinue the BPM.
By declassifying this document as a BPM and incorporating its content into the ISO glossary on our website, ISO can now post updates more promptly without requiring a full BPM review cycle. This change removes redundant review processes for updates that may already appear in other BPMs.
A link to the ISO glossary is now available in the BPM Library, where you can find the most current definitions and acronyms formerly included in the Definitions and Acronyms BPM. Definitions and acronyms will also remain accessible within the individual BPMs.
For more information about the BPM Change Management process, please visit the BPM webpage on the ISO website.
