Legal and regulatoryBusiness Practice Manual Change Management calls on 2/24/26 - 2/26/26
The California ISO will host a three-day series of calls for its Business Practice Manual (BPM) change management meeting on March 24, 25, and 26, 2026, to review proposed changes to business practice manuals, including revisions related to the upcoming implementation of the Day-Ahead Market Enhancements (DAME) and Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiatives.
This month’s meetings have been expanded into multiple focused sessions due to the significant volume of DAME and EDAM revisions under review. The goal is to provide stakeholders with additional time for collaborative discussion, deeper review of the materials, and clarification of questions ahead of the recommendation-phase comment deadline.
Key Updates for March
- Expanded to a three-day series of focused sessions to support review of the extensive DAME and EDAM revisions.
- Initial comment deadlines remain as posted to preserve the full two-month review cycle leading up to activation in May 2026.
- Stakeholders are encouraged to submit both initial comments and a list of questions they would like addressed during the respective BPM meetings by March 17. Comments and questions should be posted directly to the corresponding Proposed Revision Requests (PRRs) in the BPM change management tool.
- Please note that affected parties must be registered in order to submit written comments or questions.
All Proposed Revision Requests (PRRs) and related activity are publicly available through the BPM change management webpage.
Discussion items and PRR details are included in the meeting agenda, available on the BPM change management webpage on the ISO website.
The calls will be recorded and the video files posted on the BPM change management webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
