Cluster 16 Interconnection Request modified User-Defined Model requirement

The California  ISO (ISO) application window for interconnection requests (IR) seeking to participate in the ISO’s Resource Interconnection Standards cluster 16 study process is now open.

The ISO understands that some interconnection customers may not be in a position to provide a user-defined root mean squared (RMS) positive sequence dynamics model (UDM) at this time into the Grid Resource Interconnection Portal. Interconnection customers that do not have a UDM should submit their parameterized generic library RMS positive sequence dynamics model into the GRIP required field for the UDM as well in order to complete the interconnection application in the Grid Resource Interconnection Portal.
