Congestion Revenue Rights Enhancements working group call on 1/28/25

The California ISO will host a Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) Enhancements initiative working group call on Jan. 28, 2025. This session will explore the ISO’s current CRR market processes as well as stakeholder experiences with the current CRR market and using CRRs to hedge congestion risk.

Based on stakeholder feedback on the Discussion Paper and the initial working group meeting held on Nov. 14, 2024, the second session will provide a deeper dive into the ISO’s CRR market structures and processes. In the second half of the session, the ISO invites stakeholders to present in 20-30 minutes their experiences with the ISO CRR processes and the types of transactions used to hedge their own congestion risk or provide products and services to entities that are. 

The ISO encourages stakeholders to conclude these presentations with commentary on appropriate problem statements for the initiative.
