Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration revised straw proposal posted, comments due 7/2/26

The California ISO has posted the Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration revised straw proposal on the Demand and distributed energy market integration initiative webpage.

The proposal addresses Performance Evaluation Methodology (PEM) application, double compensation, definition of demand response, deliverability, and the roles of utility distribution companies and scheduling coordinators.

We request that written comments regarding the revised straw proposal be submitted through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage linked above. Please submit written comments by the end of day July 2, 2026.
