Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration working group call on 6/17/25

The California ISO will host a virtual working group call for the Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration initiative on June 17, 2025.

This session will begin the conversation on the next theme for the Working Group: enhancing demand flexibility options. The ISO and stakeholders will present on the topics of Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) participants’ reflection of demand response programs within the markets and emerging requests for unique large-load participation options (e.g., hydrogen electrolyzer participation). The ISO encourages stakeholders to share their perspectives on these topics during the session to help formulate and assess problem statements for consideration in a future policy development effort.
