Draft CISO Balancing Authority Area Supplement to EDAM Business Practice Manual - Attachment A published; comments due 1/23/25

The California ISO has published a draft version of the CISO Balancing Authority Area Supplement to EDAM Business Practice Manual - Attachment A. The document is available on the Release Planning page under 2026 Releases > Spring 2026 > EDAM ISO BAA Participation Rules Track A Project.

We encourage market participants and stakeholders to review the draft BPM and share feedback using the Stakeholder Comment Template – CISO BAA Supplement to EDAM Business Practice Manual – Attachment A – due Jan 23, 2026, template provided in the same location.

Please note: This is an initial draft intended to gather input from market participants and stakeholders. The ISO anticipates refining the BPM based on comments received as well as insights gained during Market Simulation and Parallel Operations. A revised version will be published along with the EDAM BPM as part of the official Proposed Revision Request (PRR) process.
