FERC extends Settlement Dispute deadline for EDAM/DAME T+70B Recalculation Settlement Statements to 12/24/26

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), on Aug. 25, 2026, issued an order in Docket No. ER26-3104-000 granting the California ISO's (ISO) request to extend the dispute submission period for certain T+70B Recalculation Settlement Statements associated with the implementation of the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) and Day-Ahead Market Enhancements (DAME).

Under the approved waiver, Scheduling Coordinators have until Dec. 24, 2026, to submit disputes for T+70B Recalculation Settlement Statements related to trade dates May 1 through June 30, 2026, extending the standard 22 business day dispute deadline.

The ISO requested the extension due to the complexity of EDAM/DAME settlement changes, ongoing settlement system enhancements, and the time required for software vendors to implement updates to participant shadow settlement systems. The extended dispute submission period is intended to ensure market participants have a full and fair opportunity to identify and submit potential settlement disputes as they validate the early months of EDAM/DAME settlement results.

The extension applies only to T+70B Recalculation Settlement Statements for trade dates May 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. All other settlement statement dispute deadlines and tariff provisions remain unchanged.

An updated version of the 2026 ISO Payments Calendar reflecting the extension can be found on ISO’s Payment calendars webpage.
