Legal and regulatory Markets OperationsFERC Order No. 881 - Managing Transmission Line Ratings Phase 2, call on 1/24/25
The California ISO will host a call for the FERC Order No. 881 initiative on Jan. 24, 2025, to discuss the proposed transmission line ratings it intends to use in the day-ahead and real-time markets. This discussion will address scenarios where communications with the ISO are disrupted, preventing a Participating Transmission Owner, Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Entity, or Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Entity from submitting, or the ISO from receiving, the applicable transmission line rating. The call will also cover situations involving data input failures or hardware or software malfunctions.
The agenda and other associated materials will be available prior to the meeting on the FERC Order No. 881 - Managing Transmission Line Ratings Phase 2 initiative webpage.
Please submit written comments on the discussion by end of day Feb. 7, 2025, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
