Imbalance Reserves Mosaic Parameter Requirements: Stakeholder call on 11/4/24

The California ISO will hold a stakeholder call for the new Imbalance Reserves (IR) Mosaic Parameter Requirements Initiative on Nov. 4, 2024.

The call will focus on the following agenda items: Ongoing evaluation of the IR mosaic quantile regression parameters; talking in detail about the IR Mosaic parameter testing approach, Mosaic parameter results (sample scheme), and Mosaic parameter results (sample days). Following the stakeholder discussion, market participants will have an opportunity to evaluate and provide comments. Optimized IR mosaic quantile regression parameters will be deployed in the DAME market simulation.

Meeting materials, such as the agenda and presentation, will be available the week of the stakeholder call on the Imbalance Reserves Mosaic Parameter Requirements Initiative webpage.

The stakeholder call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.

Please submit comments on the stakeholder call by Nov. 8, 2024 using the comment template that will be available prior to the call on the webpage linked above.
