Interconnection Process Enhancements 2023 Track 2: Revised 2024 Generator Interconnection Data posted

The California ISO has posted revisions to the generator interconnection data related to the Interconnect Process Enhancements (IPE) 2023 track 2 initiative.

• The Revised Constraint Mapping 2024 IPE is available in following Information on Transmission Capability Estimate Inputs for CPUC Integrated Resource Planning link on the Generator Interconnection webpage, under the Interconnection facility information heading.
• The Revised Interconnection Area Substation Point of Interconnection (POI) List is available on the Interconnection request and study webpage, under the Transmission-level resource interconnection heading.
• Frequently Asked Questions related to the Points of Interconnection Heatmap are available on Generator Interconnection webpage, under the Interconnection facility information heading.

The changes specifically relate to the addition of the following POI: Orchard 500 kV, San Migul 70 kV and Los Banos 70 kV. This revision also includes constraints update for some POIs and removal of duplicate entries.

The ISO is continuing its ongoing process of reviewing control and operation of certain POIs. As such, additional POIs may be added in future updates.
