Modification of Maximum Import Bid Price Hourly Energy Shaping Factor effective 11/16/24

The California ISO’s Price Formation Enhancements modification of Maximum Import Bid Price (MIBP) hourly energy shaping factor, as discussed with Stakeholders at the May 28, 2024 MIBP Workshop, will be effective trade date Nov. 16, 2024 onwards.

The modification is in Business Practice Manual (BPM) Change Management (CM) Proposed Revision Request (PRR) 1591. This PRR includes new calculations and examples for these Real-Time Market parameter changes.
