New leadership selected for the Western Energy Markets Regional Issues Forum; Tricia Blevins selected as new Western Energy Imbalance Market sector liaison

The Western Energy Markets (WEM) Regional Issues Forum (RIF) has announced its new leadership. Scott Olson (Director Policy, Regulation, and Markets West, Avangrid) will serve as the new RIF Chair. Scott Olson previously held the Vice Chair role prior to his appointment to Chair. Kalia Savage (Principal Transmission and Markets Policy Analyst, Portland General Electric) will serve as the new RIF Vice Chair. Vijay Singh (Organized Markets Adviser, PacifiCorp) will continue serving as RIF Secretary. 

The Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) sector has selected Trisha Blevins (Energy Markets Department Manager, Turlock Irrigation District) as its new sector liaison. Trisha brings extensive experience supporting WEIM operations, market strategy, and reliability-oriented initiatives to the RIF. 

This leadership transition reflects the continued engagement of stakeholders in supporting the RIF’s role in advising the WEM Governing Body and informing WEM governance processes.
