Notice of New Intertie DELANEY500, Effective 6/12/24

The California ISO informs market participants of a new intertie, DELANEY500, will be added effective June 12, 2024.

Due to the addition of the Colorado River-Delaney 500kV line, the physical intertie between substations Colorado River and Delaney substation has created a new intertie. The targeted go-live is June 12, 2024, based on current testing activities, and is subject to change.

Per Tariff Section 6.5.9, the ISO will post on OASIS all transmission flowgate Constraints with the corresponding Shadow Prices.  For further posting details, please refer to the Market instruments BPM, Section 10 on CMRI reports available to Scheduling Coordinators and Section 12 Public Market Information available on OASIS.
