Notification of revised ISO operating procedure 3140

The California ISO has revised the operating procedure referenced below. 

3140 TOP-003 TOP - BA Data Request and Specification Guidelines, version 5.9, effective May 7, 2026. 

Update to applicability section: All Generator Owners and Operators with existing CAISO agreements, including those registered as Category 2 Inverter Based Resources (IBRs), should continue to provide required data and information through the established CAISO submission processes. Category 2 IBRs without a CAISO contract should provide required data updates through their interconnecting utility. CAISO will continue to rely on its existing data request processes to obtain this data and information.
