Notification of revised ISO operating procedures 5320, 5320A and 5750

The California ISO (ISO) has revised the operating procedures referenced below:

5320 Resource Trial Operations and Test Energy Process, version 4.6, effective Oct. 29, 2026

Clarified testing roles, approval requirements, and operational responsibilities, including updates to Scheduling Coordinator and Generation Dispatcher guidance. Added detailed Web Outage Management System (WebOMS) card requirements, parent/child card usage, testing schedule formatting requirements, pre-approval validation checks, and new resource testing expectations. Minor formatting and grammar edits.

5320A Test Energy Process for NGR Resources, version 2.3, effective Oct. 29, 2026.

Clarified the Non-Generating Resources (NGR) Resource outage limitations in Section 1.1.

5750 Settlement Quality Meter Data (SQMD) Plan - Submission & Approval Process (External), version 2.6, effective Oct. 29, 2026.

Updated the Scheduling Coordinator Metered Entity (SCME) project creation process. Updated Operationally Affected Parties to reflect “CAISO” Public. Minor formatting and grammar edits and removed history older than five years.
