Notification of revised RC West operating procedures RC0130B and RC0650

RC West has revised the operating procedures referenced below:

RC0130B New Equipment/RAS Energization Checklist, version 2.0, effective Nov. 1, 2026.

Major revision to clarify Transmission Operator (TOP) responsibilities to ensure RC data requirements are met for new Bulk Electric System (BES) equipment or Remedial Action Scheme (RAS). Clarified RC West responsibilities to ensure data requirements are met, or to coordinate with TOP to develop operating plan if RC data requirements are not met. Defined various terms throughout, minor formatting and grammar edits.

RC0650 Steady-State and Dynamic System Model Validation: NERC MOD-033, version 3.6, effective Nov. 1, 2026.

Annual Review: Updated version of North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) MOD-033 standard references. Updated Operationally Affected Parties section to include “CAISO” Public and removed history prior to five years.
