Preliminary Cluster 16 Interconnection Queue posted

The California ISO application submission window for interconnection requests (IR) seeking to participate in the CAISO’s Resource Interconnection Standards cluster 16 study process closed on Oct. 15, 2026. The preliminary list of projects has been posted in the Cluster 15 and later queues here.

Projects that successfully completed the application completeness review will now enter the Customer Engagement Window, which runs from Oct. 16, 2026, through Jan. 13, 2027. During this window, projects will be scored to determine which will be eligible to proceed to validation and ultimately participate in the Cluster 16 cluster study which begins on Jan. 14, 2027.  IRs that were submitted towards the end of the window and are in the completeness checking process may be added to this list.
