Price Formation Enhancements: Phase 2 working group call on 11/6/24

The California ISO has scheduled a Price Formation Enhancements (PFE) Phase 2 working group call on Nov. 6, 2024.

This session will explore enhancing the Balancing Authority Area (BAA) Level Market Power Mitigation (MPM) process by introducing a “group approach” that would assess market power across connected BAAs rather than testing them individually, aiming to reduce unnecessary mitigation while maintaining competitive pricing.

Informal written feedback will be accepted after each working group session. Opportunities for formal written feedback will be announced separately.
