Price Formation Enhancements working group: Updated Working Group Schedule Forthcoming based on survey results

The Price Formation Enhancements initiative has adjusted its meeting schedule, and an updated schedule of next steps will be released soon. As discussed at the March 24 Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative meeting and April 3 Annual Policy Prioritization Workshop, the ISO has adjusted schedules of some policy initiatives to facilitate stakeholder engagement on the EDAM Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative, which is being expedited. In light of the planned frequent cadence of the Price Formation Enhancements working groups, we have adjusted the schedule to pause those meetings in the near-term while this expedited EDAM Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative is ongoing. The ISO is seeking feedback from stakeholders on prioritization among ongoing policy initiatives, as well as its addition of new initiatives to the Policy Roadmap via a survey which can be found here.  Survey input will be open until April 29, 2025.

The Price Formation Enhancements initiative will use the results to inform its reassessment of the timing of the existing policy development initiative. These schedule changes are intended to maintain policy development momentum while better accommodating stakeholder availability and enabling full stakeholder participation in existing initiatives.
