RC West: 2026 Summer Readiness Meeting on 5/20/26

The California ISO will host a hybrid 2026 RC West Summer Readiness meeting on May 20, 2026. Attendees may choose to participate in person at the ISO, or virtually. If you plan to attend the meeting in person, please register by end of day Friday, May 8, 2026.

This annual meeting supports preparation for the summer operating season, when the grid may experience increased demand and potential impacts from extreme weather. The session provides an opportunity for RC West, Transmission Operators, Balancing Authorities, and regional partners to review operational updates, discuss system conditions, and coordinate on reliability readiness for the summer months.

8:30am – 11am: Summer Readiness Public Session

• RC West emergency procedure review
• RC West tools overview

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: Balancing Authority Roundtable (Closed Session)
