Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design virtual working group track 1 workshop on 6/11/25

The California ISO will host a Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design (RAMPD) virtual workshop on June 11, 2025, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. to discuss the track 1 straw proposal on default counting rules/planning reserve margin and accounting for ambient derates.

If you would like to present any track 1 topics, please reach out to the policy lead. 

  • Track 1: Modeling, default rules, accreditation, and capability testing

The straw proposal, along with other meeting materials, will be available prior to the workshop on the Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design initiative webpage. The workshop will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.

Please submit comments for the RAMPD Workshop by June 25th using the comment template that will be available prior to the call on the webpage linked above.
