Markets PlanningResource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design working group hybrid workshop on 12/13/24
The California ISO will host a Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design (RAMPD) working group hybrid workshop on Dec. 13, 2024. This will be an input session to discuss key questions on the straw proposals ahead of publication. Stakeholders will also have the opportunity to present their ideas. Attendees may choose to participate in person at the ISO, or virtually. If you plan to attend the RAMPD Policy Workshop in person, please register here by end of day Dec. 6, 2024.
If you would like to present on any of the track topics, please reach out to the policy lead. The three tracks and leads include:
- Track 1: Modeling, default rules, accreditation, and capability testing
- Contact Ansel Lundberg to present on Track 1 at alundberg@caiso.com
- Track 2: Outage and substitution rules and processes as well as the ISO’s resource adequacy availability and incentive mechanism
- Contact Anja Gilbert to present on Track 2 at agilbert@caiso.com
- Track 3: Resource visibility and backstop procurement reform
- Contact Hilary Staver to present on Track 3 at hstaver@caiso.com
Materials will be available prior to the workshop on the Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design initiative webpage. The workshop will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit comments on the RAMPD Modeling Workshop by Dec. 30, 2024 using the comment template that will be available prior to the call on the webpage linked above.
