Scheduling Infrastructure and Business Rules Overview Training for DAME and EDAM on 1/29/26

The California ISO is implementing major updates to the submission of economic and self-schedule bids as part of the Day-Ahead Market Enhancements (DAME) and Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiatives, which will directly impact the Scheduling Infrastructure and Business Rules (SIBR) application and the associated validation rules. To support these changes, the ISO will offer a SIBR overview training on Jan. 29, 2026, designed for Scheduling Coordinators and SIBR users responsible for submitting Day-Ahead Market bids under the EDAM framework. This session will provide a clear explanation of the new requirements and help participants prepare for the updated processes.

It will also provide information on bidding updates related to the DAME and EDAM initiatives:

  • Key business rules that are DAME/EDAM specific.
  • SIBR User Interface (UI) display updates.
