Storage Design and Modeling: working group meeting on 5/9/25

The California ISO will host a virtual working group meeting for the Storage Design and Modeling initiative on May 9, 2025. 

Two topics will be discussed during the meeting: the Issue Paper & Straw Proposal on Outage Management, Nonlinearity, and State Of Charge (SOC) Clarification, and the proposed Business Practice Manual (BPM) modifications relative to the SOC Management & Capacity Awards topic and discussed during a stakeholder call held on April 14, 2025. 

Please submit written comments related to the Issue Paper & Straw Proposal on Outage Management, Nonlinearity, and SOC Clarification by end of day May 23, 2025, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.

Please submit written comments related the proposed Business Practice Manual (BPM) modifications relative to the SOC Management & Capacity Awards topic to by end of day May 13, 2025. Comments on this specific Proposed Revision Request can be submitted through the BPM change management site. In addition, stakeholders may submit comments to inform future policy discussions of this matter through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
