Training Announcement: Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Training for Intertie Scheduling Readiness on 2/11/26

The California ISO will host a training webinar on Feb. 11, 2026, to provide an overview of the changes to intertie scheduling and modeling associated with the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) go-live.

During this session, the ISO customer readiness and training team will host a training session illustrating what remains the same and what is changing in relation to intertie schedules and modeling on ISO interties with EDAM, WEIM, and non-market balancing areas across a transitional period. The training session will include discussion of scheduling of Resource Adequacy (RA) imports across the different interties and reassignment functionality applicable in limited instances for RA imports.

This training is intended for Scheduling Coordinators operating within the ISO Balancing Authority Area, entities planning to participate in EDAM, and anyone involved in Western energy markets who would like to stay informed.

The training session will be recorded and available for market participants to view if unable to participate in the live meeting. A recording of the session will be posted to the ISO Training Center > Western Energy Markets within three business days.
