Updates to Prices page in Today’s Outlook and ISO Today mobile app

The California ISO will be launching updates to the Prices page in Today’s Outlook and the ISO Today mobile app (iOS version) later today. 

With the launch of the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM), under the Day-Ahead market filter, users can choose California ISO (ISO), PacifiCorp West (Pac West) and PacifiCorp East (Pac East) to bring up the region’s price nodes. 

When clicking on Pac West and Pac East nodes, the modal will include the following data:

• Type: Load or Generation
• Region
• Locational Marginal Price (LMP)
• Congestion
• Loss
• Marginal energy cost. 

When opening nodes within the ISO region under the Day-Ahead market filter, the modal will include all the above and Greenhouse gas (GHG) data. Price nodes under the Fifteen-Minute and Real-Time market filters will also include GHG data for all nodes in all regions. 

Above the map, we added a new search feature that allows users to search for specific nodes within the active market. 

In the mobile app, we’ve improved the social media button to provide access to the ISO’s multiple social media platforms - so you’ll never miss the latest announcements.
