WEM Governing Body meeting on 6/17/26, final agenda posted

The California ISO has posted the final agenda for the hybrid Western Energy Markets (WEM) Governing Body meeting on June 17, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort, Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico. This meeting will take place the day following the WEM Regional Issues Forum meeting, which will be held at the same location the afternoon of June 16, 2026.   

This will be a hybrid meeting with the option to participate either in person or virtually. If planning to attend in person, attendees are encouraged to pre-register ahead of time. Virtual participants do not need to register. 

Public comments may be provided to the WEM Governing Body both orally during noticed meetings, and in writing. Oral comments for items on the consent agenda and for matters not otherwise on the agenda are addressed at the beginning of meetings, while those on agenda items are addressed when the item is presented. Written comments are publicly posted and should be sent at least one week prior to meetings to allow enough time for review by the Governing Body. Comment letters should be sent to sbernard@caiso.com and kosborne@caiso.com.

General session materials will be available on the WEM Governing Body webpage approximately one week in advance of the meeting.

An updated schedule has been posted, which includes the tentative 2026 and 2027 meeting dates for the Western Energy Markets Governing Body, ISO Board of Governors, joint, Department of Market Monitoring Oversight Committee and Audit Committee.
