Western Energy Markets Regional Issues Forum meeting on 10/5/26; in-person registration requested, panel topics announced

The Western Energy Markets (WEM) Regional Issues Forum (RIF) has announced its upcoming hybrid in-person/virtual meeting, which will take place at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, California on Oct. 5, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT in conjunction with the CAISO Stakeholder Symposium on Oct. 6, 2026.

As part of the agenda, RIF liaisons will host discussions on the RIF to the Regional Organization for Western Energy's (ROWE) Stakeholder Representative Committee (SRC) transition, an update on the California ISO's 2027 - 2029 Policy Roadmap and process, and a technical discussion on Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) enhancements. A final agenda will be publicly noticed in advance of the meeting. 

Please complete the registration form if you plan to attend the RIF meeting in-person. Registration is not required for virtual participants. Additional materials will be available prior to the meeting on the WEM RIF webpage.
