2026 California ISO Stakeholder Symposium: Program agenda now available

The California ISO is pleased to announce that the agenda for the 2026 Stakeholder Symposium is now available on the Stakeholder Symposium page.

The symposium will take place on Oct. 6, 2026, at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, with a welcome reception on Oct. 5 at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel. The Symposium will bring together energy leaders, policymakers, market participants and stakeholders from across the West to discuss the future of the energy industry.

This year’s program, "Powering the Future: Shaping the Next Era of Energy," features keynote remarks from FERC Commissioner Judy W. Chang, panel discussions on the successful launch of Extended Day-Ahead Market and the progress to date toward an independently governed regional organization for Western Energy, a set of new TED-style sessions on emerging industry trends, and a look ahead at the ISO’s forthcoming five-year strategic plan.

For a preview of this year’s program highlights, read Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Experience Joanne Serina’s latest blog, “The 2026 Stakeholder Symposium Agenda Now Available: Powering the Future – Shaping the Next Era of Energy.”

Registration is open on the Stakeholder Symposium registration site. Visit the Stakeholder Symposium page to view the full agenda, learn more about featured speakers, and explore sponsorship opportunities.

We look forward to welcoming stakeholders to Sacramento this Oct. for two days of networking, collaboration, and meaningful conversations about the future of the grid.
