Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration meeting on 7/9/26

The California ISO will host a hybrid stakeholder meeting for the Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration (DDEMI) initiative on July 9, 2026. The meeting will focus on the Track 1 DDEMI Draft Final Proposal, which introduces targeted metering reforms to better capture behind-the-meter demand response capabilities by recognizing customer-level exports within a resource-level load curtailment framework. 

Please register for in-person attendance if you plan to attend onsite.

Written comments on the discussion and the Track 1 DDEMI proposal are due on an expedited timeline by the end of the day on July 16, 2026. Comments must be submitted using the ISO’s commenting tool available on the Demand and Distributed Energy Market Integration initiative webpage.

Meeting materials will be posted on the initiative webpage prior to the meeting. The meeting will be recorded, and the video will be posted following the meeting.
