Extended Day-Ahead Market Congestion Revenue Allocation Phase 2: Working group call on 4/17/26; draft schedule released

The California ISO will host a virtual stakeholder working group call on April 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to continue discussions on Phase 2 of the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative. 

Phase 2 of the initiative focuses on evaluating enhancements and a long-term design for congestion revenue allocation in EDAM. Having established common design principles through prior working group meetings, the ISO is scheduling four working group sessions to discuss potential design alternatives for congestion revenue allocation and evaluate these through stakeholder input, with the first session occurring on April 17, 2026.  During these working group discussions, stakeholders and the ISO will introduce and describe a potential range of design options. 

Aside from the April 17 meeting, the additional working group meetings have been scheduled on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, May 6, 2026
  • Tuesday, May 26, 2026
  • Tuesday, June 16, 2026

Meeting materials will be available prior to the workshop on the Extended day-ahead market initiative page. The workshop will be recorded, and the video file will be posted after the meeting. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission. Comments on the meeting are due by May 1, 2026.
