MarketsExtended Day-Ahead Market Congestion Revenue Allocation Phase 2: Working Group on 12/11/25
The California ISO will host a hybrid stakeholder call on Dec. 11, 2025, to launch Phase 2 of the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) Congestion Revenue Allocation initiative. Please click here to register for in-person attendance. Please register by Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Within Phase 1 of the initiative, which launched and concluded earlier in the year, the ISO and stakeholders evaluated enhancements to the congestion revenue allocation design for EDAM to support a congestion hedge associated with the exercise of firm transmission rights through the market. Phase 2 of this initiative will evaluate potential near-term enhancements to that design and a long-term design for congestion revenue allocation in EDAM.
Meeting materials, including an analysis report on congestion in the real-time market, will be available prior to the workshop on the initiative webpage. The workshop will be recorded, and the video file will be posted after the meeting. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
As reminder, the commenting tool remains open for stakeholders to submit comments from the previous Nov. 11th Q&A session, here. Comments are due by Dec. 5, 2025.
Additionally, there is a comment template from the Nov. 5 session, here, which will inform the FAQ document. Comments are due by Feb. 27, 2025.
