FERC Order No. 1920 Compliance Filing Call on 9/18/25

The California ISO will hold a public virtual stakeholder call on Sept. 18, 2025, to discuss the FERC Order No. 1920 compliance filing.

During a public stakeholder meeting held in March 2025, the ISO provided a summary of the compliance timeline, key requirements, development activities, and anticipated changes to its transmission planning process in response to FERC Order No. 1920 (presentation available here). The purpose of the upcoming Sept. 18 call is to offer an updated overview of the compliance approach for each topic area and discuss with stakeholders the CAISO’s proposed evaluation process and selection criteria for long-term regional facilities. The presentation materials will be posted to the miscellaneous meetings webpage ahead of the meeting.
