Large Loads Initiative: Additional discussion of operational and technical requirements, call on 8/24/26

The California ISO (ISO) has scheduled an additional stakeholder meeting for the Large Loads Initiative on Aug. 24, 2026, to provide additional time, if needed, to discuss the operational and technical requirements topics included in the Large Loads Straw Proposal published on Aug. 12, 2026, as well as those covered in the Large Loads Technical Requirements Straw Proposal, published on June 15, 2026.

This meeting is being scheduled as a contingency in the event that not all straw proposal topics are completed during the Aug. 19, 2026, stakeholder meeting or additional time is needed for further discussion of operational and technical requirements. If all agenda topics are completed on Aug. 19 and no additional discussion is needed, the Aug. 24 meeting will be canceled. The ISO is providing advance notice of this potential second meeting to allow stakeholders to reserve time on their calendars.

Meeting materials and participation information for Aug. 24, if needed, will be posted on the initiative webpage and calendar ahead of the meeting.
