Large Loads Initiative: Stakeholder meeting on 10/1/26; draft final proposal to be posted on 9/24/26

The California ISO (ISO) will host a hybrid stakeholder meeting on Oct. 1, 2026, to discuss the draft final proposal for the Large Loads Initiative.

The draft final proposal will be published on Sep. 24, 2026, and posted on the Large Loads initiative webpage. The meeting will provide stakeholders an opportunity to discuss the draft final proposal and provide feedback before the ISO brings the proposal to the Board of Governors and files tariff language with FERC. The presentation and other meeting materials will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative webpage. The ISO will also post draft tariff language on Sep. 24, 2026, but the ISO will schedule a separate stakeholder meeting for discussion of the draft tariff language after receiving comments on the draft final proposal and draft tariff language.

Attendees may choose to participate virtually or in person at the ISO. If you plan to attend in person, please register by end of day Sep. 25, 2026. The meeting will be recorded, and the video will be posted following the meeting. The recording is provided for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions may not be reprinted without the ISO's permission.

The ISO welcomes stakeholder participation and feedback and will open a comment period regarding the draft final proposal and Oct. 1, 2026, meeting discussion, with comments due by end of day Oct. 15, 2026.
