Market Seams workshop on 7/31/26

The California ISO has scheduled a July 31, 2026, Market Seams workshop. This will be the first workshop in a 4-part series on market-to-market seams that will explore key issues with industry experts and interested parties. This inaugural meeting is hybrid with in-person participation in Seattle. If you plan to attend in person, please click here to register.

The stakeholder meeting on July 31 will provide an overview of Western market seams, characterization of seams issues from a panel of industry experts, and perspectives on seams from a panel of state regulators.  

The series will address principles, problem statements, and technical exploration of market-to-market seams issues. We welcome stakeholders from across the West to join the discussion at these workshops. Future workshops will be announced in a future notice. 

Meeting materials will be available prior to the meeting on the Market Seams webpage. The workshop will be recorded and the video file posted to the webpage. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
