New Initiative: Cost-of-Service Study Extension, Revenue Requirement Cap Increase, and Other Rate Design Considerations; call on 2/12/26

The California ISO is launching a new initiative on the Cost-of-Service Study Extension, Revenue Requirement Cap Increase, and Other Rate Design Considerations, and will host a public stakeholder call on Feb. 12, 2026. This multi-topic finance initiative encompasses critical funding and planning actions such as extending the next Cost-of-Service study, increasing the annual Revenue Requirement cap, and other rate design considerations. Together, these requests support long-term financial sustainability and maintain rate alignment with evolving cost and operational needs.

A straw proposal will be announced in a following notice and posted a week ahead of the meeting. The presentation will be available on the initiative webpage prior to the call.
