Reminder: Registration for Market Seams workshop on 8/18/26

The California ISO has scheduled its second market seams workshop for Aug. 18, 2026, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. This will be the second workshop in a four-part series on market-to-market seams that explores key issues with industry experts and interested parties. This meeting is hybrid with in-person participation in Salt Lake City at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) office. Please register if you plan to attend in person, 

The upcoming stakeholder meeting on Aug. 18 will focus on transmission constraints and congestion management. It will feature a panel of transmission operators and engineers explaining the series of transmission studies that identify constraints leading up to real-time, using the Pacific Northwest region as an example. A second panel of subject matter experts from both market operators and market participants will discuss congestion management.
