Markets PlanningResource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design working group tracks 1, 2, and 3A on 8/28/25
The California ISO will host a hybrid meeting for the Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design (RAMPD) working group on Aug. 28,2025, to discuss tracks 1, 2, and 3A. The session will be dedicated to discussing:
- Track 1: Draft final proposal on default counting rules and accreditation along with stakeholder comments on the straw proposal
- Track 2: Outage substitution straw proposal
- Track 3A: Draft final proposal on visibility into the status of resource adequacy-eligible resources not shown as resource adequacy along with stakeholder comments on the straw proposal
If you are interested in attending in person, please register by Aug. 26. If you would like to present regarding any track topics, please reach out to the policy lead.
- Track 1: Modeling, default rules, accreditation, and capability testing

- Track 2: Outage and substitution rules and processes as well as the ISO’s resource adequacy availability and incentive mechanism

Meeting materials will be available prior to the workshop on the Resource Adequacy Modeling and Program Design initiative webpage. The workshop will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
