Storage Design and Modeling: Issue Paper and Straw Proposal on Mixed-Fuel and Distribution-Level Resources posted; meeting on 3/16/26

The California ISO has posted the Issue Paper and Straw Proposal on Mixed-Fuel & Distribution-Level Resources on the Storage Design and Modeling initiative webpage.

The ISO will host a virtual stakeholder meeting on March 16, 2026. The meeting will focus on the paper and the Uplift and Default Energy Bid (DEB) topic group, specifically covering alternatives to enhance storage DEBs. 

The meeting materials will be available on the Storage Design and Modeling Initiative page prior to the meeting.

Please submit written comments on the issue paper and straw proposal and the March 16 meeting discussion by end of day March 30, 2026, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
