PlanningUpdated Information on Resource Interconnection Standards Intake and Scoring of Long Lead Time Interconnection Requests for C16 posted
The California ISO (ISO) has posted an update to the Q and A Long Lead Time Resource for C16 with Information on intake and scoring of long lead time interconnection requests for Cluster 16 (C16) to the Interconnection facility information webpage. The update is related to the allowance of alternative interconnection points eligible for TPD reservations that are behind the same constraints as the ones identified in Table 1-1 or the 2025-2026 Transmission Plan.
The questions and answers will help interconnection customers understand the technologies and point of interconnections that are eligible to utilize transmission plan deliverability capacity that is reserved for long lead time (LLT) resources, and claim LLT points related to interconnection requests submitted in the resource interconnection standards C 16 application window.
