Draft EDAM Business Practice Manual Available for Review

The California ISO has published a draft version of the Business Practice Manual (BPM) for the upcoming Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM). The document is available on the Release Planning page under 2026 Releases > Spring 2026 > Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM). 

We encourage market participants and stakeholders to review the draft BPM and share feedback using the Stakeholder Comment Template EDAM Business Practice Manual template provided in the same location.

Please note: This is an initial draft intended to gather input from market participants and stakeholders. The ISO anticipates refining the BPM based on comments received as well as insights gained during Market Simulation and Parallel Operations. A revised version is scheduled for publication in Jan. 2026.
