The California ISO has posted the draft versions of operating procedures 2720, 2720a, and 2720b for review. 

2720 Market Disruption – Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) - DRAFT, version 5.0, effective Dec. 8, 2025. 

Complete rewrite to simplify the steps for Isolation, Separation and Suspension during Market Disruptions as well as creating Appendices 2720A and 2720B for communications and settlements expectations. 

2720a Market Disruption Communication - DRAFT, version 1.0, effective Dec. 8, 2025. 

New procedure Appendix/Attachment issued. 

2720b Market Disruption Settlements Notification - DRAFT, version 1.0, effective Dec. 8, 2025. 

New procedure Appendix/Attachment issued.
