The ISO and PacifiCorp will host a joint call on February 10, 2016 to discuss governance structure for both the western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) and regional integration activities. Specifically, the discussion will focus on the differences between the two efforts and their current status and related activities.
During the call, ISO management will discuss the current activities around implementing the EIM governance proposal which was developed by the EIM Transitional Committee in 2015 and approved by the ISO Board of Governors. In addition, we'll provide a high level overview of the process and timeline for modifying the ISO governance to establish a regional grid. The presenters will also describe opportunities for stakeholder involvement. During the call there will be time for questions.
Materials related to regional integration are available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/RegionalEnergyMarket/BenefitsofaRegionalEnergyMarket.aspx.
