Regional Integration: Regional Resource Adequacy Meeting in Portland, Oregon 6/2/16




The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder meeting in Portland, Oregon on June 2, 2016 to review the second revised straw proposal for the Regional Resource Adequacy initiative.  Please RSVP by May 27 if planning to attend in person.  A web conference will also be available.  Submit comments on the proposal by June 15.

The ISO has scheduled a stakeholder meeting on June 2, 2016 to review the second revised straw proposal for the Regional Resource Adequacy initiative.  The proposal will be published by close of business May 26 on the ISO website at


The second revised straw proposal will provide further details on the proposed revisions to the ISO's resource adequacy provisions for an expanded Balancing Authority Area (BAA).  As part of the proposal, the ISO will also provide an analysis of resource adequacy needs of an expanded BAA.


The meeting will be held at the Collective Agency in downtown Portland, Oregon.  If planning to attend in person, please RSVP at by May 27 as space is limited to the first 60 people.  A web conference will be available for those who are unable to participate in person.


Please note there will also be a stakeholder meeting for the Transmission Access Charge Options initiative held the previous day, Wednesday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) at the same location.  More information on that stakeholder initiative and meeting is available at
