2013-2014 Transmission Planning Process: Competitive Solicitation Key Selection Factors Posted




The California ISO has posted the key selection factors for the solutions eligible for competitive solicitation recommended in the Draft 2013-2014 Transmission Plan.

The ISO identified 6 regional transmission solutions that are eligible for competitive solicitation in the Draft 2013-2014 Transmission Plan. The ISO has posted its key selection factors for each of the transmission facilities recommended for approval pursuant to Section 24.5.1 of the ISO tariff, which is available on its website at


Upon ISO Board approval of the Transmission Plan, the ISO will initiate in April 2014 the competitive solicitation for the eligible transmission solutions. Descriptions of the transmission facilities recommended for approval are available in Appendix F of the Draft 2013-2014 Transmission Plan at
